ObjectivesBANK has design and developed Mobile App to facilitate the Customer to have access to his account 24x7 to extending the business hours of the Bank and access to his Account at any place throughout India from smart phone.Maximum Transaction Limit per day is Rs 50,000/- IMPS Mobile Banking shall be issued to Saving, Current, Cash Credit and Term Loan Accounts.Eligibilitya) IMPS can be issued to all savings bank account holders due care should be taken while issuing IMPS on joint accounts.b) The issue of the IMPS is governed by the operating mandate on the account.
In case of an Either or Survivor Account there shall be no restrictions on issue of the IMPS, as all the joint holders can operate the account singly but all joint holder has to give consent that authorized person will do transaction on behalf of all others on banks form.c) In case of Former or Survivor the IMPS is issued only to the first holder known as the former.d) In a Jointly or Survivor the IMPS cannot be issued as the mode of operation prohibits operation of the account singly.e) In case of Current Accounts IMPS can safely be issued to the proprietor of the sole proprietorship account, as for all operational purposes a sole proprietorship account is termed as a single accountf) BANK will not issue IMPS for minor account holder.g) IMPS can be given to the Customer who is opening a new account.
In this case the IMPS form contains the required fields and he/she needs to Fill and Sign the same.
If it is a joint account all the joint holders need to sign the IMPS request form.WHILE OPENING THE ACCOUNT Branch Staff shall EXPLAIN THE BENEFITS OF THE IMPS/MOBILE BANKING TO THE CUSTOMER AND CONVINCE HIM/HER TO TAKE IMPS AS IT WILL GREATLY REDUCE THE CROWD ON OUR CASH COUNTERS AND WILL HELP US OFFER BETTER CUSTOMER SERVICEh) While filling up the IMPS form the customer’s need to Enter the Name and Accounts to which he needs this service with correct and live mobile Number.i) When a customer submits IMPS form duly completed and after the initial steps for opening the account are over, the IMPS form is forwarded to the Computer Department for completion of other formalities including setting up IMPS Service for that customer.j) In case of a request for an IMPS from an existing customer the IMPS form filled up is checked/verified by branch designated officer and forwarded to the Computer Department for further action which sets up the IMPS service for the customer/account.k) The Computer Department register the customer for IMPS service and link given mobile number to his customer in IMPS.IMPS Operating Procedurea) The registration SMS will be delivered to customers registered Mobile numberb) MPIN will be delivered to Registered mobile Numberc) Customer Needs to download and install Mobile App from google PlayStore /AppStore etc on his mobile(Handset)d) After successful installation of mobile app customer need to login first time on mobile app for this he/she needs to enter the registered mobile Number and press Accept button shows on screen.e) If Mobile Number is correctly entered and that is registered in bank then he/she will prompt for enter MPIN AND Set New MPIN.f) He/She Need to enter the Confidential PIN sent to his mobile number and needs to set the New MPINg) Then After Successful MPIN set , Customer will get acknowledge Messageh) Then he/she needs to set TPIN for that he need to enter the TPIN SMS received into Current TPIN box and set New TPIN.i) He/she need to remember or due care should be taken about Both TPIN and MPINj) After Successful registration Customer can Remit Money or Pay bills using utility bill optionk) Mobile app is enabled to set MPIN AND TPIN manually also.l) Also Customer can send Cheque Book Request.Transaction ChargesBank can set transaction charges as and when decided by bank’s Management and can be charge to customers account by proper intimation or SMS to the Customer before applying the charges.
